Jaipur, the Pink City and capital of Rajasthan, is a royal mix of hill forts, palaces and colourful bazaars that suits families, couples, senior travellers and school or office groups alike. Mithila Travels plans private Jaipur tour packages by cab or tempo traveller from Delhi NCR, with hotels and a day-wise plan made for your dates.
How many days do you need for a Jaipur tour?
Two days are enough to cover Jaipur's main forts, palaces and markets at a relaxed pace, with a third day for Ajmer–Pushkar or a slower city stay. Jaipur is about 280 km from Delhi (5–6 hours by road), so a weekend trip works well. On the Golden Triangle, plan 4 days for Delhi, Agra and Jaipur together.
Best time to visit Jaipur
October to March is the best season, with pleasant days and cool nights that are ideal for fort walks and sightseeing. Summers (April to June) are very hot, so start early and keep afternoons indoors. The monsoon months bring greenery to the Aravalli hills around Nahargarh and Jal Mahal, and fewer crowds.
Top places to see in Jaipur
- Amer Fort – the hilltop fort-palace with the Sheesh Mahal mirror hall.
- Hawa Mahal – the honeycomb "Palace of Winds" facing the old city bazaar.
- City Palace – the royal residence with museums and courtyards.
- Jantar Mantar – the UNESCO-listed astronomical observatory.
- Jal Mahal – the palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.
- Nahargarh Fort – best for sunset views over the Pink City.
- Albert Hall Museum – Rajasthan's oldest museum, lit up beautifully at night.
How to plan your Jaipur tour with us
Our Jaipur tour packages start with pickup from Delhi, Noida or Greater Noida in a private cab or tempo traveller chosen for your group size. You can do Jaipur on its own, combine it with Agra (Agra–Jaipur is about 240 km) as a Golden Triangle tour, or extend into Rajasthan with Ajmer, Pushkar or Jaisalmer. We book hotels to suit your comfort level and share a day-wise plan before you travel. Mithila Travels is Uttarakhand Tourism certified, and every itinerary is planned around your dates rather than a fixed group departure. For Jaipur tour packages made for your family or group, Call/WhatsApp +91 85888 34222 for a quote.
