What is the tempo traveller per km rate in 2026?

The tempo traveller per km rate depends on the size of the van.

The last column is simply 250 km × tempo traveller per km rate + ₹500, before tolls and parking. Does the tempo traveller per km rate change for one way?

No. For a one-way drop the tempo traveller rent per km is the same, but charged only on the actual distance (minimum 40 km). The driver allowance of ₹500 is added only when the trip is over 250 km. So at the 12 seater tempo traveller per km rate, Noida to Delhi Airport (about 50 km) is 50 × ₹20 = ₹1,000, and a one-way run to Agra (about 200 km) is 200 × ₹20 = ₹4,000, with no allowance. These fares use the tempo traveller per km rate and rules above, so you can check any tempo traveller price yourself. Distances are approximate; tolls, parking and state tax are extra.

Agra day trip in a 12 seater

Noida to Agra and back is about 400 km. That is more than 250 km, so 400 km is billed at the 12 seater tempo traveller per km rate: 400 × ₹20 = ₹8,000 + ₹500 allowance = ₹8,500. Haridwar weekend in a 16 seater

Haridwar is about 200 km each way, so you drive about 400 km. Over two days the minimum is 500 km, so at the 16 seater tempo traveller per km rate: 500 × ₹25 = ₹12,500 + ₹1,000 allowance = ₹13,500. Adding a Rishikesh visit (about 30 km further each way) keeps you under the 500 km minimum, so it adds no billed kilometres.

Jaipur in a 25 seater

Noida to Jaipur is about 290 km, so about 580 km return. Over two days that is above the 500 km minimum: 580 × ₹30 = ₹17,400 + ₹1,000 = ₹18,400. For 24 passengers that works out to about ₹767 each: the higher tempo traveller per km rate of a big van is still good value when every seat is used.

Per day or tempo traveller per km rate: which is cheaper?

We do not have a separate "per day" tempo traveller price. A per-day figure is really the 250 km minimum turned into money, so the tempo traveller per km rate decides the cost of every day.

• Short days (under 250 km): you pay the daily minimum. Plan several stops to use kilometres you already pay for.
• Long days (over 250 km): you pay the tempo traveller per km rate only for what you drive. A fixed "per day" deal would not save you money here.
• Extra days with little driving: each day adds 250 km to the minimum. A rest day in Rishikesh still costs 250 km × tempo traveller per km rate + ₹500.
