Goa is India's favourite beach state, known for golden sands, Portuguese-era churches, spice plantations and relaxed seaside cafés. It suits honeymooners, families, friends' groups and anyone looking for a winter break by the sea. Mithila Travels plans Goa tour packages with hotels, local private cab sightseeing and a day-wise plan made for your dates.

How many days do you need for a Goa trip?

Four to five days is the ideal length for a first Goa trip: one day for North Goa beaches and forts, one for South Goa, one for Old Goa's churches and Panjim, and some free time on the beach. Since Goa is usually reached by flight or train from Delhi, a longer stay makes the journey worthwhile.

Best time to visit Goa

November to February is the peak season, with sunny days, calm seas and the liveliest beach atmosphere, including Christmas and New Year. March to May gets warmer but is quieter. The monsoon from June to September turns Goa lush and green, though many water activities and beach shacks close and the sea is rough.

Top places to see in Goa

  • Baga, Calangute and Anjuna – North Goa's busiest beaches for water sports, markets and nightlife.
  • Fort Aguada – the 17th-century Portuguese fort and lighthouse overlooking the sea.
  • Colva and Palolem – South Goa's calmer, scenic beaches, ideal for families and couples.
  • Basilica of Bom Jesus – the UNESCO-listed church in Old Goa, along with Se Cathedral.
  • Panjim – Goa's capital, with its Latin Quarter, riverfront and evening cruises on the Mandovi.

How to plan your Goa tour with us

Tell us your travel dates, group size and whether you prefer North Goa's buzz or South Goa's quiet beaches. Our Goa tour packages include hotels to suit your comfort level, airport or railway station transfers and private cab sightseeing in Goa, with a clear day-wise plan shared before you travel. For larger groups we can arrange a tempo traveller, and we also handle pickup in Delhi or Noida for your airport or station drop. Mithila Travels is Uttarakhand Tourism certified and plans every trip privately, not as a fixed group tour. For Goa tour packages made for your dates, Call/WhatsApp +91 85888 34222 for a quote.
